Hi, I’m Charlie and here is why I’ve set up Inspire Futures,
Throughout my career in the health and social care sector, and specifically in supported accommodation, one thing remains in my heart, my unwavering commitment to the well-being of children and young people. Every decision, every action, is guided by a relentless drive to ensure their experience is nothing short of exceptional.
I established Inspire Futures to channel the knowledge, experience and expertise I’ve gained to focus solely on quality and training. Inspire Futures is not just another company; it's a guiding light in a sea of uncertainty within our busy industry. Here we alleviate the stress, pressure and anxiety that often accompany the territory, providing a haven where your organisation can surpass both yours and young people’s expectations.
My mission, simple yet profound, is to support you to deliver excellence, with a passion to empower and uplift the lives of children and young people in care.
If you're looking for a friendly face in a sea of suits, you've found it! I'm all about forging connections, even if it's just over a fleeting cup of coffee. Because at the end of the day, it's not just about business; it's about building bridges and leaving a legacy of laughter and learning in our wake.
The geeky bit
I have a degree in Health and Social care, a level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma plus accredited trainer status.
I have worked in the health and social care sector since 2007, and since 2016 as a senior manager and head of operations. I have been the lead trainer creating and delivering a multitude of courses for staff, managers and senior managers. Since the beginning of the consultations around new regulations for supported accommodation I have been central in re-evaluating internal quality standards in line with the emerging themes. Creating a framework, tools and resources, auditing services inline with these and raising standards to be ahead of the game.
Outside of work
I live in sunny Bristol with my husband, 2 children and 2 cats. I’d love more cats but I’m not allowed! My hobbies include reading and yoga and anything that gives me an adrenaline rush! The best by far is skydiving. We’ll often be at theme parks or travelling around this country and others to watch sporting events.
